As usual, I start the week with a macro photo. For those less familiar with macro photography, I want to remind you that macro photography means photographing small and very small objects up to 1: 1 reproduction rates.
The reproduction ratio is the ratio between the life size of the subject and the size of its image on the sensor or film.
So, macro photography is useful every time we want to photograph small subjects like the stamens of a flower as you see in this photo.
You are all invited to take part in this challenge that I initiated more than two years ago.
For those who want to try, here are the settings I used to take this photo:
Camera: Nikon D5200
Lens: Sigma 105mm f/2.8 EX DG OS HSM Macro
Settings: f 8, 1/200sec, ISO 100

I guess its a Lilly, I maybe wrong it could be any other flower too.
You are the winner! They are stamens of Amaryllis.
Even if I think about the answer for a few hours I won’t be able to guess what the stamen is from, so I’d better just praise the picture… Impressive!
