This I took in the garden with Orange Sky that was imported by Australian fires. My neighbour’s garden and they look like seed pods.
I don’t know what this plant is but I believe it is used for healing.
Orange sky altered everything and that happened abruptly, so much light had to be turned on at 3 O’clock in the afternoon

Ever had this happen to your town where sky turns orange?

Yes

What is happening in Australia is a catastrophe of global proportions …. I still don’t understand something …. have the authorities acted in a timely and correct manner?
i have sadly seen orange skies but not in many years.
the fires are awful. Sorry, the smoke is wandering the roaring 40s to you.
Our temperature is much cooler about 21 degrees celsius. Thanks Doc
I hope things get under control soon! I am not sure what the plant is.
Thanks Ellie, we don’t have fires in New Zealand but the experience yesterday was a sobering thought and will think of what can be done for our neighbours in Australia
It’s a disaster and a sad lesson for all of us.
Yes, this is all due to climate change, something needs to be done now.
The flower looks nice but sad. I hope you don’t have too many consequences.
We don’t have any bad consequences, but there is a huge distance between Australia and New Zealand is huge, and it is a sad indicator of how bad it is for Australians, Thanks Vidocka
So sad about all the fires. I read the US is sending help. I hope other countries are as well.
Thanks Carol, I am glad the US is sending help it would be most stressful for continual fire fighting. NZ has sent some fire fighters too
