Macro Monday ~ Selaginella Jori (Jericho flower)

About a month ago, I saw this plant in a flower shop. She seemed nice and a little unusual. I decided I had to buy this flower. So I asked the staff for a little more information. I was very surprised to learn that this plant also belongs to Jericho flowers.  This type of plant is undemanding.  The plant needs a lot of moisture so we need to water and spray it regularly. The room temperature should not fall below 12 degrees Celsius. Selaginella does not bloom, its beauty is the leaves. The color of the leaves can be of different shades – from light green to dark green, rarely are species with leaves of bluish or metallic shade. My plant is doing wonderful right now.
