Macro Monday – Once in a lifetime…..

A very beautiful flower that I received as a gift at the beginning of the month, it bloomed.

The flower is called Pink quill (Tillandsia Cyanea) It was brought from the rainforests of Ecuador. Tillandsia Cyanea produces a large, fan-shaped inflorescence covered with purple-blue flowers. What I find sad is that this flower blooms once in a lifetime. The flower appears when the plant is 2, 3 years old. It lasts quite a long time, but after the inflorescence dies, the plant starts to wither. We can say it lives to bloom, then it dies!

“If we could see the miracle of a single flower clearly our whole life would change.” Buddha
