Macro Monday – Flamingo

For Monday’s Macro Monday challenge, I chose the beautiful flamingo flower I painted at the flower shop. For the most part, the Flamingos bloom very richly and for a long time, as it takes up to 3 months from the bud to bloom. The plant has large hearty glittering leaves and colorful flowers on long stalks. They can be colored white, red, pink, green … We need to provide them with enough air humus. The ideal temperature is 22 degrees C, the lowest 16 degrees C. It does not like direct sun. At a young age, we transplant the plant every year, and later every other year. Wash it with soft water warmed to room temperature. In rooms with central heating it should be watered daily, also in summer. During the growth period, we add liquid fertilizer every two weeks.
