In the archive I found a picture that reminded me of my vacation where I met this wonderful friend. Husky is a perfect family dog. They are social dogs and connect to all family members. They are non-aggressive and friendly to all. This also applies to foreigners, to whom they are not mindless, so they are not good watchmen. Husky is a thinking dog who knows what he wants. This is a dog that will surprise you every day with something new.

The same here since my favorite breeds of dogs are Irish Settlers, German Shepherds, sheepdogs and Labrador Retrievers.

I love Huskies, but really the climate here is too hot for a dog with a lot of fur. I still like them.

Yes, definitely huskies are wonderful and faithful friends but there is some advice I would like to give here. Huskies are working dogs so they need to spend a lot of energy. As such the owner must be prepared to do so and also to get pulled along on a leash because believe me Huskies pull a lot. But all in all, Huskies are excellent companions and even they are no guard dogs, they are good watch dogs and will most of the time alert to incoming strangers on your yard or porch. My lastest dog Tasha was a mix German Shepherd and Siberian Husky. She had the instinct to pull (so she would take me out for a brisk walk and not the other way around) and she would let me know if someone was near or approaching. Unfortunately Tasha is no longer here on this earth so my cat Runt has taken over for her… as a faithful companion.
