I finally saw the bees visiting my terrace as well. They are pretty late this year. I have a lot of flowers on the terrace so they have enough food and can work well. They prefer lingering on portulac flowers. The genus Portulaca comprises more than 100 species that grow in the tropical and subtropical regions of the world. The velvety portulac or colander hails from Brazil and Argentina. It is a slow-growing flower with characteristic fleshy-thick and succulent light green leaves. During the summer, single or stuffed flowers of pink, red, yellow, orange or white develop.

Amazing scene! It seems that the bee is so contented with the food it can get from the flower. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you, Sharon. Looks like she really enjoyed it
Lovely capture of the bee in the flower…
Thank you so much for your kind comment
I’ve never seen that flower before. It’s strange that different areas of the world have different types of flowers even though bees pollinate flowers all over the earth.
I agree with you. Nature sometimes does real miracles that we do not understand.
Amazing catch of this bee. Not seen this flower before.
Thank you, Carol. I don’t remember the name of that flower right now. ?
