Lush green leaves of our new Fig Tree that is showing up

1. There is no fig tree here and I am interested to see one that is fruiting.

2. I never liked figs, my Grandmother always had fig trees.

   • I like the dried figs which I soak in sugar syrup

3. I don’t know if the same only wild figs grow in our country … at sea where the weather is warmer

   • They are quite common where I live.

7. Such beautiful and fresh green color! I love taking pictures of fig trees, but I don’t eat the fruits much.

   • My old tree was beautiful It is dead now and now I have trained the garlic vine on it. There is a post on that

8. I like figs but I haven’t seen those red ones here.

   • These are wild figs and so not available in stores.

9. I have only ever tasted fig rolls that we can buy over here but not the wild variety

   • But nothing like what we get in the market specially the dried figs.
