For longevity it does not matter where you were born, whether you were born in a rich or poor family or in which social class you are, Grant’s study revealed. American research began very long ago, specifically in 1940. The study included 200 healthy young Americans who were traced from youth to late age. The report shows that longevity has far more to do with happiness than a social class.
You will live a long life if you have a dog, a large number of friends and happiness in marriage. Likewise, they say that these three things are more important than the place of birth, wealth, and social status.

I have a small bird a budgie. Animals often come to me. Birds come to me. I befriend quite a few dogs. I believe it is love that gives us joy in life. They improve our lives.

I do agree that status or place of birth has little to do with long life.

A lot of things help us to live a longer life.
That’s right, it does not need to be generalized
I have an adopted cat named Sid. My husband was the love of my life and my soul mate but has now passed on. I am not a happy camper now but I am returning to my homeland the U.S. this summer and then I will change my life around and since I am bringing my cat I will wait but eventually will also get a dog.

So sorry for your loss. I hope you can find peace soon. Animals are the best healer.
I’ve been living with dogs as my pets for all my life.
We had a dwarf pinch who lived for 19 years.
Now we have a female Beagle.
