The central cemetery of Žale is the largest cemetery in Ljubljana and Slovenia. It is located in the City Municipality of Ljubljana, more precisely in the district of Bežigrad. It is managed by the public company Žale, which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2006. The funeral activities were carried out by many famous architects (Jože Plečnik, Edvard Ravnikar, Vlasto Kopač), so that the whole cemetery complex has an important place in Slovenian architectural history.

I don’t see the need to visit a place, when the person I remember no longer has a physical location…
Yes, if the grave has a physical location
but the part of the person that I loved isn’t in the grave
This is then another thing
I am just trying to explain why I don’t feel the need to visit a grave. I can remember my departed from anywhere
I don’t we go for only once a year, in mid of March.
I also do not go only 1x per year, but for this holiday, the visit is more massive
I went to Ljubljana. I have good memories.
Thank you for viewing and commenting
We do to have the holiday here but this cemetery looks incredible. Such beauty.

It seems like it’s a very beautiful historic cemetery.
One part can also be historically different, but this is the largest cemetery in the country
