Continuing with Kim’s challenge for June, write about Happiness. What makes you happy? I have many things that make me happy in my life. We all do if you look around. Maybe it is harder to find on some days. But they are still there. Having a positive attitude goes a long way in bringing and creating happiness. Almost every day, no matter what I am doing, I have a memory of Dustin, or my Mom or Dad, or sister or brother and my Grandparents. They are always happy times. Happy memories. Happiness they are all trying to send me from the other side perhaps. All depends on how you believe. I am not sure about the other side but I am sure of my memories and the feelings I get when one of my loved ones visits me. If only in my mind, I still get visit from my long lost loved ones. I know they are all up there, or out there somewhere. And if I keep the right attitude I will see them all again one day. That is my happiness not just for today. Every day.
Remember life is all about those little things. One day you will look back and realize everything in life were little things. The attached photo was taken when I went to visit my Dad’s home after he passed last year. The sun was shining on the blooms after a rain. He loved his camellias. I loved walking in his yard and garden while he showed me his lovely flowers. More of those little things I will never forget.

That’s great, Carol. We deserve to be always happy, through anything, in any way, thanks to anyone and anything, especially by yourself, unconditionally!
Love the flower, and yes happiness is all around us if we look hard enough. I believe they are in heaven. Talk to God Carol, in your heart and he will tell you they are with him.
Thanks LaJenna, I have many things to be thankful for.
Thanks it is more of those special moments for me to share.
Thanks for all of your comments own my posts. 🙂
Very pretty flower, wonderful post!
Yes very special, thank you Courtney.
Very beautiful and inpiring post, Carol! I always try to find the happiness in the little things.
Thanks Ellie, you know I talk about them all the time.
A beautiful post Carol as usual. And very profound indeed!
Thank you Bradley, very special flower.
I thought it was a rose at first. Love this! You should get one for your garden, if you haven’t already.
I know Kim, these blooms are breathtaking. I got a cutting from his when I went down in December for the last time, but not sure if it is going to make it. Would be so special.
The truth is, I less agree with your words “they are all up there” for something up there is sky… Haha… Just joking, Carol. I really understanhd that they are still with us arround though we can’t see them with our eyes for they allready “change”.
I don’t know where they are Albert, I wish I did, I have lost sleep over this question many nights. Not lately, I have realized I will know when I know I guess. I can definitely feel their spirit or presence around me.
I have red ones and pink ones that got together and started producing redish/pinkish ones that are an amazing color, but I have never seen white camelias. My grandmother used to take me out to see all her flowers whenever we went to her house. Yes, Carol, I am sure they are sending you happiness. It is a wonderful photo.
I had never seen white ones either and he had three trees probably 30 feet tall. He was so proud of these flowers as he should have been. Wish I could have brought them home with me. I have cuttings but they are not looking good.
My happy moments is when I can find classic television shows and movie that have happy stories.
Those moments are few and far between right? I know what you mean.
The trick is to keep moving forward to your goal.
You got that right, we have to keep moving ahead.
Excellent advice for all of us to heed.
The little things do make me happy like family time, gardening and so many others.
You should write a post for the challenge. Life is about those little things for sure.
Yes, I have happy moments even though I suffer from Chronic migraines but I guess I can write about it myself.
Same here, it is the pits, isn’t it! We all have our problems. Glad you visited and commented. And hope the rest of your day is headache free. 🙂
I have happy moments especially in spite of what is going on, to be honest. I guess I’ll have to take the challenge in order to explain that.
I have many many days when I don’t even want to hear the word happy but I continue to push through.
You should join the challenge, it is easy peasy! Thanks for the visit and comment.
I did the challenge, though I’m not sure of the rules.
There is a link in m post (Happiness) that goes back to Kim’s reels. All you need to do is put “Just for Fun” in the title, and use “JFF” as a hashtag, post to Challenges and that is it.
Sorry… I hate these typos… “a link in my post”… “Kim’s rules”.
I did put ‘just for fun’ in the title, but didn’t put it into a hashtag.
beautiful camellia, I love them very much, but I can not raise it
Yes they were in my Dad’s yard and he loved them, they grew over his roof, huge.
