Life in wild jungles

 The last Japanese soldier in World War II, Hiroo Onoda, had been hiding on one Philippines Island Lubang for nearly thirty years, believing that the war was still going on until finally, a young man named Suzuki found him in the jungle in 1974. After a while, Suzuki read an order from Onoda’s former commander, who dismissed him. 

Only then did Hiroo surrender and return to Japan, where he became a famous man, wrote about him in newspapers, appeared on TV, and wrote an autobiographical book, “No surrender. My Thirty-Years War”.

But the life and values that Hiroo Onoda found when he returned were already different. He became frustrated, unable to understand and adapt, so after a while, he went to live in the forests of Brazil.

Can you imagine, he refused the life in a civilized country and went to live in untouched Brazil forests. So, how our values are changed through just 30-40 years if people choose better to live in wild jungles instead of civilization?
