I love lettuce in my salads , I started growing them in containers as soon as I could have a veggie garden. But now honestly it is everywhere. It grows in every container. This plants reseeds itself if allowed to go to seed and grows in abundance.
I had so much lettuce that I have to give them away to my friends and neighbours. In the last few months I had stopped growing lettuce purely because I got sick of it. Now its back again. No, I didn’t plant it. It just springs up where ever it feels like.
Back to lettuce in my salads. I find it hard to pull them and throw them off like I do with tomato plants.

I love salad so it’s on my menu every day. I have a lot of lettuce in the garden.
I wanted to grow other varieties I only have two now, but I’ve given up.

I like lettuce too! I read that it’s easy to grow, but I haven’t try it myself. I like vegetables that can grow and re-grow easily. 😀
They are really easy to grow. I actually tell people who feel they have failed with gardening to grow lettuce.
I haven’t grown a garden in many years (long story). But we did grow lettuce for many years when my father had his mini-farm!
My dogs love lettuce, I am sure yours would too.
another reason I don’t have a garden. I have a laborador. She thinks all food is meant for her.

Never grew lettuce but I enjoy the softer kinds of lettuce for my salad so I look for those when I purchase lettuce
These are soft and tasty too. But then after a point you tend to get sick of them.
I have lettuce, morning glories Dahlberg daises which are a nuisance .
I have no lettuce in my garden but do have plants that multiply and need to be discarded from time to time.
