The system of proper typing or typewriting is not easy. In fact, it is difficult to learn how to type by using the proper positioning of the fingers. The left forefinger is on the letter F and the right forefinger is on the letter J. As you go along it would be painstakingly slow. The practice will go as long as 2 months. But once you get used to the proper positioning of the fingers you can type quicker and without even looking at the keyboard.

I learned to type in high for Typing I was a requirement to graduate. I took the second year course as well for I thought I was one day going to work in an office. I ended up using this skill all the way through college and graduate school and now as a free lance writer.
I can type and use the right method but I should not look at the keys. I love the photo of the old typewriter
I used to learn typing on type writer almost twenty years ago.
I type well because I learned in school. It’s really hard to learn how to type correctly.
