Koi ~ Alphabet Crazy

Here it seems like many people like to keep koi fish in outdoor pond. Chinese also likes to have the koi drawings on Chinese New Year greeting cards. I read that it symbolizes strength and also good fortune. The word koi comes from Japanese, and koi is also a symbol of love and friendship in Japan as it’s a homophone for another word that means affection or love.

I don’t know why I always like to see kois swimming. Perhaps I think they are colorful and they always seem to swim peacefully.

  1. I think that it is interesting to look at different fish swimming. I used to have a goldfish that one of my kids won in a school carnival. It was fun to watch it swim around the tank.
