I just had to post this photo again as what better way than this photo to depict winter?
My friend sent me this a few years ago. She had just migrated to the US and all what I could see was this was an endurance test for her to put up with such severe winter.
She seems to have to come up with flying colours as she is so well settled there, her old age notwithstanding.
I doubt if I could go through it all.

Sometimes there have been really bad winters with a lot of snow … everything is different .. not cold or power … for once … climate change is very obvious to us
We have moderate climate and never feel winter at all.
Winter always gets me down.
