I had to do a ‘eenie meenie miney mo’ to choose something green in my image folder. Our garden is packed with green this and green that. Finally I picked this curry leaf tree which as you can see is green.
Curry leaf trees are seen all over our garden. They propagate on their own with seeds and saplings emerge through their roots.
Wish I had an outlet to sell these leaves. It also has fruits which I lately learnt are edible. I used them to make herbs paste which has other herbs.

Lovely post, we don’t have these trees…
We use this to temper dishes and also make ‘chutney’
Sounds really good…I like to try different things.
Beautiful green, dear friend … I don’t know the curry tree … I only know the spice, but it probably doesn’t grow on that tree
Everyone is getting confused with the name. It is not a curry but just the name of the plant
thank you for the explanation, dear friend
I don’t think I have ever seen a curry plant I only know curry powder.
This is just the name and has nothing to do with curry (lol)
It looks like a neem tree that is in the picture.
Neem trees have different type of leaves.
A great shot for the green challenge.
A beautiful tree and love the green. But I cannot do curry, much too spicy for me. Great for the challenge.
It has that name and has nothing to do with it being spicy.
Ah wonderful and great information that I did not know. I have some that came up. My son cut them down the first year, this year they are back. I told him to leave them alone! So glad I did now. I will have to research and read about this. Thank you!
