Hi virily friends. Here I introducing about  Khanpur dam which is an important dam of Pakistan.  it is a very beautiful blue water lake among the beautiful mountains of potohaar regin. In the season of summer people come here for enjoying the day specially the people of capital city of Pakistan i.e islamabad go there for enjoying sunday. Very impressive place for visit . On the dam venue planty of facilities are available for visitors i.e decent food, fishing and  restaurants for stay.  This Dame is a multi-purpose project aimed at supplying water for irrigation as well as for the use of people of the capital city of Pakistan. The main aim to provide water for Islamabad and Rawalpindi cities.. This dam is located on the Harar  River, near potohaar plateau in the area of tehsel khanpur, district Haripur, Kheber Pukhtoon Kha, Pakistan.  If you want to see this dam, and you is in the capital city, islamabad of Pakistan then after of 45 minutes drive you will be there. It is constituted on the main road from Islamabad to Abbottabad through khanpur on the distance of only 40 km from Islamabad. It is a very famous place for tourist and it is also famous for fishing.  Plenty of people visiting there for eating fish also.

  20. 40 km is very close to the capital. I think it is a priority tourist spot and most visited by the capital’s residents because of that distance, and of course, for all the fun things available in that beautiful place.
