but in Timelapse so you actually see change!
The Wisconsin Dells, my father was born in that small Wisconsin Town. When i was little we spent a lot of time there. Since the passing of my grandfather (father’s father), i have been to the Dells twice, once to visit my grandfather’s grave and once to celebrate my Aunt and Uncles Anniversary. (my mother’s brother).
I have so many images of the Dells.
I remember reading the classic comic book Moby Dick with my grandmother.
I remember creating a pinhole camera with my grandfather.
I remember chocolate-covered cherries (hidden by my grandfather and shared with me!)

I would love to see this area. Never have. The river sure does get tight in places. That is one amazing photo. Doesn’t look like it belongs.
Have you shared the dells before? I remember a photo that you shared a while back overlooking a body of water, that looks similar to the website. Yes, I looked it up. So, which is best, the upper or lower?
many times I’ve shared my grandfather’s pictures he loved the Dells! he was a big fan of the upper Dells, as there were fewer people.
now both are pretty heavily populated. Except that that the edge of the Upper Dells traverses First People land, so there is less people building!
I thought I had seen pictures of it before. I love his pictures.
the two of them (my grandfather and my father) loved the Dells.
the river has lots of smaller tributaries that lead into the main body, that is a picture of one of the tributaries!
Okay, I was wondering that when I looked up the river on maps. Wow, how cool that must be. I would like to canoe those smaller areas.
canoeing, you would want to be just a little north of the Dells. Look for the Turtle Flambeau Flowage. we canoed there one summer, best place ever!

i am glad most of you would ride that boat. A little trivia – my dad was a captain of one of the Dells Tour Boats when he was a High School Senior.
Yes, I would love to ride in that boat, it must be great. The picture proves it
i loved riding those when I was a kid. My kids had fun years later when we went!
my dad as a teenager was actually a captain of one of those tour boats!
I love both videos! Time lapse videos are great for impatient people. The epitome of impatience is probably watching time lapse videos on YouTube on double speed. Just a weird thought inspired by these clips.
I sometimes clip through old family videos at double speed, I know what is being said more interested in specific things.
thanks – no parrot pop-ins – i am going to have to find a video with a parrot pop in!
You can always pick a video that shows the parrot from hatching to mastering the first song.
i will think about that – today I shared a blizzard!
The first video is fantastic. I would be happy to take this boat.
it is a lot of fun, i rode it when I was 5 and many times after that. I took the kids when we went, so magical!
I would ride the boat for sure. Memories keep me going.
it is a fun boat trip, the carved rock formations of the Dells are famous!
Another place I would love to visit. Dustin always wanted to see the Packers play at home.
The Dells is a good 4 hours from Lambeau Feild, but not a horrible drive. it is beautiful country to drive through.
These seems some very good memories of yours
they really are, thank you very much for that!
Wisconsin Dells is absolutely the best. The Tommy Bartlett’s Water Show is definitely worth the travel.
i remember watching the 6, 8, 12 stacked riders when they did tricks. loved that show!
Well I might. It’ does seem a little tight through there. If and when I get to go somewhere we all know I am going north!
Nort ey! off to Canada are we?
I would love to ride this boat. I actually could use a vacation.
i would say go to the Dells, but time travel isn’t possible. The Dells of today, is just a tourist trap.
