My memories of Copenhagen start and end with the Lady in the Harbor.

That is something I have gone to see many times.

My first memory of Copenhagen came on the way home from Thailand. We landed there and wandered the city while dad went to Paris and Debriefed with the UNESCO team. We were staying in Downtown Copenhagen and near the hotel, there was a shop. It was a toy shop, and in the window, they had a mechanical recreation of Santa’s Workshop. It had taken many years to build i am sure.

We went there every night we were in Copenhagen. We then flew home to the US. Dad stayed in Paris for a few more days.
