Just for Fun and Car Crazy 6

This is an interview with Steve Martin and David Letterman. It makes me laugh every single time!

One more Steve Martin – fits the world we live in. Waiters must wash hands. the absent-minded waiter!

The first car I purchased. It was an Olds 98. The car was a boat. Literally huge. The engine of the car was the old 455 v8.

what did that mean? Honestly, it meant you didn’t get miles per gallon, you got gallons per mile (not true really but it sounds good).

we routinely would back then, go to see the Rocky Horror Picture show. The Olds took 5 people and me comfortably from the restaurant where we worked to the theater. That car was a boat!

Anyone can join the newly combined just for fun and car crazy challenge – tell a story about a car you owned, and share some funny, relaxing or entertaining videos!

  1. My parents never had a car. I remember a childhood friend whose father would buy a new used car every year and he said that saved him from many problems like repairs. You drive one for a year and then just switch off to another. I went through many of them like Buicks, Pontiacs, Chryslers, and others

    • cars in NYC are not as big a deal as they are in Indiana! you could walk 3 blocks to a subway. The only subway in the cities I lived in early in life, was the L in Chicago. The L was a lifeline when I was little.
