William James (brother of the author) and founder of the Harvard School of Psychology postulated that making yourself smile, would actually make a person happier.
Freud, who was the master of Pysch at the time said it was stupid.
It languished as a theory until the 1970’s. It has been studied many times since. No one has ever been able to prove William James wrong.
I am sure you do them.
