Love ItLove It

Is it my imagination….

or did the site light back up about the time the dashboard showed up again.  So what is the lesson we learned from that. How many more views would we have roped in if we had been so diligent even when it was not showing. So am I going to renew my commitment to be all in. I am going to try and write longer and better posts that will appeal to more searches and people from the outside coming in.

For the the next thirty days I am going to treat this like a business. I am going to calculate. Try and work smarter not harder. See if anyone else wants to join me on the crazy thirty days anyone will work like they owned the site and it was how they made their livelihood ~ who am I kidding. This is like hiking from here to Alaska alone. Still I am going to give it a go.

I am going to think outside of the box and see if I can make something happen.

  1. I have now done this twice here on Virily and also once on Niume (but that one started too late). I am all for moving forward positively!

I spent a lot of my time figuring out who the influencers on the site were. I have also spent a lot of time chiding the people that are only negative!

It is an agreement because of the money that we have to uphold our end of!

We, as the authors provide content. They, the site (Virily) provides a location and URL that can be found on the internet so that others can view our content.

I find it hilarious that the Facebook groups dedicated to Virily are filled with negative comments, but the negative commenters are the first to post when fixed go into place (look for the dashboard is fixed posts).

I guess that is my long-winded way of saying, yes I will happily start treating Virily like a business!!!

    • It wasn’t long winded, it was well thought out. So tell me as a business, what is the first piece of advice you would give me to step up and make a difference by treating this like a business. Do I need to write differently? Do I need to use social media more or less? I understand there is a need for “evergreen” articles and I am terrible at title writing. Would a list of titles to be shared in the private message area be a good idea?

      • first I would say push more content (yours and others) to social media. In my book that is step one.

Two focus on the positives (you do this very well).

I write for myself so when someone starts off telling me I need to change, I look at them blankly. I write for me. If you write for you, don’t change. You’re in 2nd place and have been the top 10 writers on Virily for more than a year. I think your writing style works well!!
