Love ItLove It WINWIN

Is it Friday critters or Saturday critters

I am not sure ,  either way here it comes. My army man critter. I have no clue what kind of insect this is. It was on my banyan bonsai one morning a few years ago.  He didn’t move much but he was alive. I love the army fatigues. The perfect camouflage from birds which are always looking for food.  He was about two and half inches across and a good one and half inches or more lengthwise.

  1. I love your army man. leander Sphinx moth….very beautiful….I am a day ahead of others because New Zealand is first to see the sun…So on my Saturday it is often your Friday unless you live in australia

    • I agree he is beautiful , I usually take pictures and ask for help to identify these creatures. That way I know what is helpful or harmful in my garden.

  2. Different and still good looking critter. According to Ileana and Kim it is a kind of moth and I have a tendency to agree. The colors are definitely army type. Cute. P.S. At first I thought it was ceramic type of insect but as continued reading I realized it was a real one. Cool…
