"IS AFRICA RISING" or MIGHT IT ACTUALLY HAVE SUNK?

The answer is NO! she is not!, in fact, if, on a scale, depicting world development started at a single percent, sub-Saharan Africa in its entirety, is at a minus 6 and counting!

A while back, an individual or persons made These statements, “Africa Rising” and “The Rainbow Nation” of South-Africa, who were either blind or are completely, foreign to Africa’s shores. And they did so for whatever reason, the results of those words had devastating and far-reaching consequences and were to the detriment of every Black person born in sub-Saharan Africa.

Both of these slogans are bad myths irresponsible non-African people who fed this rhetoric to naïve Africans who in turn, bought into the hype which started.

Here is the shocking truth, as told by a Black academic via a Houston hosted TED talk about what Africa’s problem secretly is, warning, It may shock you CLICK HERE

  1. Truly amazing, When you say the name Nelson Mandela, everyone in the entire world is an authority on him but ask about the killing of 1000s of white farmers, happening since 1994 till right now, directly linked to the ANC government he installed in South-Africa, no one knows anything about that!! https://youtu.be/ZeTJhRIVhDI

    • Uumm … can’t speak for others but I’ve heard about it. Governments, political parties, laws, etc. never stop individuals who are motivated by hatred and revenge. If there are several individuals and they can form a group or a force and move together, they can do a lot of damage. The Civil Rights Act in America has not stopped white supremacy movements. Jesus taught His disciples about peace and love and never once told them to take up the sword. That didn’t stop the Crusades and other violent acts done in the name of Christianity throughout history. Apartheid was and is wrong. Killing white farmers is wrong. I don’t need to be an authority on Nelson Mandela to know that Wrong is Wrong!

  2. The sad reality of the economic isolation of Africa continues. The Ted talk is one I had not seen (thanks for sharing).

The world as a whole has some economic inequality. this clearly shows one of those.

Africa is where it was 10 years ago, and that is very sad.

  3. I cannot give an honest opinion nor really be a judge of anything about Africa since I do not fully comprehend the problems and I do not know enough about Africa

    • I’m familiar with TED and I’m sure this organization believes they are doing their best to accompllish their “mission”. But if that’s the question then my answer is I don’t need to watch a video to be persuaded to have an opinion of Africa or any other part of of the world, or to have that opinion changed. My opinion equals the fact that we are all human beings.

Africans are called Africans because that’s the landmass they live on and claim as their own. Just like I’m called an American because I was born and raised in the USA and claim it as my native land.

There are human beings who, no matter where they live in the world, will do everything within their power to live in peace with their fellow human beings.

There are human beings, particularly those in government positions, who “think” they have power and control, and they are the only ones capable of making “the right decisions” for the masses, ergo they will do anything and everything to STAY IN CHARGE! To protect humankind? Oh no! Nothing so noble. It’s a personal selfish ambition. They just want to keep on living large!

On the world stage, to these powermongers, control of Africa will always be KEY to their power plans. They will do whatever it takes to push forward their AGENDA. It’s been this way since humanity decided to build empires.

Africa was once a part of the Roman empire. Rome is gone. But Africa is still here and somebody wants it! Can you blame them? It is a choice piece of real estate.

(Yes. I think crazy stuff like this all the time. I appreciate your Virily posts. They provide food for thought. And I can give you an honest opinion. LOL.)
