It’s been a while since I’ve written my last post about cats. To be precise, about Freddy. Now, it’s Piggy’s turn to be introduced, as Freddy’s younger brother. Well, a few hours younger, but still….
Piggy was the biggest, though the youngest of these four boys. Dushica gave birth of them one cold day on March, in a warm room, on an armchair, while I was her midwife (as usual) and my daughter held Freddy and George (two older kittens), while Piggy and Leo were born. All four boys were healthy and strong so we were more than happy. Dushica were devoted, but not too cheerful. Four boys meant all day feeding…..
Since he opened his eyes for the first time, everyone who looked at them fell under his spell. Those gorgeous big eyes capture everyone’s hart in a second. But this is not all regarding his appearance. His fur has such a beautiful pattern, similar to Freddy’s, but with addition of white, so this make one wonderful contrast. Although considerable bigger than all the other cats, he is so cuddling and gentle. Well, not so gentle when he jumps from the tree right on my shoulder in order to rub his nose against my cheek. He seizes every chance for cuddling, regardless I am prepared or not. Sometimes, because of his size, he jumps clumsily and that’s why I don’t wear anything that reveals shoulders. Claw marks are my new fashionable addition. π
Piggy likes to observe surrounding from the highest point he can find. While we were in the city, he used to sit on wardrobes and closets, as well as on the top of opened doors and windows but now, he has trees. The highest and the tiniest twig is always his first choice. My daughter and I have always called him ”hawk eye”, so he might thought he is actually a hawk. I have no better explanation.
Piggy is a big fan of walking. That’s why he sits on my shoulders while I’m moving around the house, or do some gardening. He has no complaints until I sit down. That’s the moment he jumps and runs out as fast as he can, straight Β on his favorite tree.
There is a lot of fun in my life with this fabulous cat. Enough to write a book. Still, Piggy is only five years old, so I’ll wait few years more to have stories the world have never heard of.

Hello Zaklina, Your animal friends are amazing, and so is your country, Serbia, my wife and I have a mixed breed female dog called Anana. But, since we moved to my brother in law, (all of us are retired) we have their 6 dogs and 2 cats spending more time with us than at their own home, which is on the same property. They always have to be called over and over again, perhaps we give them too much attention. PS. Thank you for reading my articles, I appreciate it.
Hi, Andre! π It’s always a pleasure to meet another animal lover. π No need to thank me for reading your interesting articles. π
It’s okay for me to get to know the better the handsome Piggy.
Thanks for that, in Piggy’s behalf. π He sends you best regards. π
Send my warmth hug for Piggy.
I missed your cat images, they are lovely
Awwww, thanks, that’s so sweet of you. π I promise to keep you informed in the future. π
For some reason I thought the last born was the runt of the litter. Guess I was wrong…
Doesn’t have to be. π That litter had no runts. π
Shows how much I don’t know about the process…
There’s nothing much to know about it. π One can just sit and wait the outcome. π
Litter size is generally a function of nipple count and health, but that’s pretty much all I can tell you about it. Someone with a background in animal husbandry would doubtless have more to say on the subject…
Such a lovely post and cute photos!
Thanks. π There are four older posts about cats, with cute photos, too. π
I should check them out if I have missed them.
If you liked post about Piggy, you won’t regret reading other posts. π And, of course, there will be more new posts about cats, because there were a lot of cats in my life (and still are). π
On the one picture the kitten looks like it has long legs lol. He sure is a cutie
Yes, he looked that way. π Piggy is one enormous cat, but it has never stopped him from being cute, too. π
What a cute poll with your photos. A great idea! I love cats as well.
Thanks. π These are my babies and I love them all. π I like your beautiful babies, Brendel and Dude, very much. π
They said to tell you thank you. π
Awwwwww…. Give them kisses from all of us. π
Thanks. π If you envy me now, you’re going to hate me when I tell you that earlier today, I found a kitten who looks like Piggy. π
You have a beautiful cat I envy you.
