According to the results of the research “Trends in buying cars in 2019” conducted by Aral, 35% of German drivers are going to change their vehicles in the next 1.5 years. They make this choice despite the fact that environmentalists convince that the climate is changing catastrophically, and if possible, it is better to completely abandon a personal car in favor of a public one.
Two years ago, 25% of respondents were going to buy a new car, but now there are only 14%. Two years ago, 53% of respondents wanted to pay for a new car in cash, now this share has dropped to 42%.
The popularity of SUVs continues to grow, they are going to buy 22% of those who want to change or buy a car for the first time.
For our family, it is hard to imagine our life without personal vehicles.
