then go outside! I am not so sure my mom really cared if we fought or not. She made it clear that if we were going to fight we needed to take it outside. Today Bro started arguing with me and said: “Let’s take it outside.” Being the typical big brother that he is he then opened the door and pushed me into two feet of snow.
Now if Mom gets to see all this, she is no his side because he pushed me outside and both of us know it. I wiped off the snow and came in. He and his big grin said, “Mom would be proud of me.”
I said, “Probably so.” then I took the snow I had in my hand, put it down his back and ran for the basement. I am safe right now because the door is locked. I am certain I will pay for it later.

when I was little, I don’t remember ever being inside in the summer!
my sisters and I still have the occasional row!
When you live in a very old house with 37 rooms, you can find lots of places to “be” inside where no one can find you for awhile.
we had a house in Indiana that had three levels, no one came down to the basement!
I felt terribly bad when I fought with my sister. I think it is harder to forgive what I did then what she did.
I think we are often harder on ourselves. I try and practice instant forgiveness. I get a little better with it every day.
After this article, I just reflected on how bad I did when I fought with my elder sister. I don’t fight I am by nature patient.
I guess that’s the right way to fight. Surprise is the element that can make you a winner. Clap, clap to that.
Oh, my Bro is a quiet sneaky guy. He uses that element often and wins! You are correct.
I had a very peaceful life as an only child
I officially invite you to come and stay for a week so you have a taste of siblings! Will you come out?
When and if I get the chance I would certainly love to experience this. I always thought when I had tussles with my mom that it would be great if I had at least one older sibling that would take the heat off of me.
