Sharing a photo with Kim’s December Themes by the Month. Winter is this month’s theme.
Chose a cold photo for today’s entry. This was taken a few years ago when we actually got snow.
The bird bath was frozen over. I had to wait a couple of days before I could get it thawed out for the birds.
That was a cold winter. I hope this year does not bring the same.

It is predicted we will have an average December, but lots of snow in January, and that is when I am due to have my eye surgery. Praying we both do not see too much bad weather.
so i will apologize because my brain went there, but imaging a bird trying to land on the ice.
No apology needed. They are good at ice skating! I had to wait a few days to get this one melted.
sorry, I can see some older birds with glasses of scotch, waiting for you to chip off some ice for them!

Look at the kind of problems you have during winters. Sometimes, I feel happy there is no winter here. 🙂
This only have very few years usually. Not a common occurrence in my area.

I also don’t want such a cold winter. I don’t tolerate cold.
I don’t like to be out in it, but from inside it is pretty sometimes.
With us, winter is just on the calendar … now it’s a little colder, it’s all nothing, my friend
About the same here except for cold mornings. This was taken a few years ago.
Our mornings are cold and the sun is finally showing
The first snow fell here, but it’s still bearable!

That’s an interesting bird bath – it looks as though very strong birds might be tempted to play jenga!
It was homemade and it lasted for awhile, I have a different one now. Used the bricks in the garden.
