where how important hugs are is discussed, it took me to another issue about how different doctors are these days.
Gone are those touches, those examinations which gadgets have now taken over. That closeness with doctors is sadly missing. I remember those days when each family had a doctor who was friendly and supportive and even concerned
We now have gadgets to check our own BP doing away with doctors who used their stethoscope to measure that. And this is one of the several gadgets that have done away with doctors. ..

Do you miss your doctor’s friendly touch?

My doctor is too concerned about me and I’d like him to keep his distance. LOL Okay don’t get too many ideas its just my son.
I have more than one doctor and each of them takes care of different parts of my body. Yes I have one who I talk to as a friend but all of them resort to scans and what have you
Over here, we aren’t yet technologically advanced. The gadgets are also expensive. Thus, we still receive a doctor’s touch.
You are better off that way in that a doctor’s personal plays a role in hastening cure.
Well it is time that is money to the Dr, they look at their watch when you go and say not to say too much because the next one is due in 15 mins.
I have developed some kind of friendship with the various doctors I need to consult but that is not the case with most patients.
That is the best thing to happen for anyone. Let it continue
I have a doctor who is very friendly, I see her every six months.
We have specialists here and not a family doctor.
I see a doctor on a regular basis for checkups.
I have one for my eyes, one for my teeth and then there is that physiotherapist, ortho, heart the works but not just one like we had in the good old days.
Nothing is ever simple these days.
I have a very friendly doctor. Since I have been visiting the doctor lately, I am often very happy with friendly doctors.
Here we have different doctors for different ailments
I haven’t been to the doctor in a long time and I hope I don’t have to leave for a while
