I have a secret

During out lifetime, each of us entrusted their great secret to someone, while we often were the ones who secretly believed. Secrets are not easy to keep, no matter how hard they try.

A team of Columbia University scientists examined a sample of 600 participants and found that 96 percent of them had a secret at that time, which was mostly a love affair. Participants asked how many times in the past month they were forced to hide the secret and how often they thought about it. Those who often thought about it, there were twice as many of them as they did not. This showed that the very nature of the content of the secret kept is not the cause of the problem, but rather how the state of mind relates to the information that affects it.

The scientists have concluded that thinking about secrets can serve as a basis for further research on this topic, with the desire to find a way to help people and facilitate confrontation with secrets in the future.
