I harassed a grasshopper!

Well, this guy came into my room and parked himself at the middle of the “walkway”, asking for death… So I shoot him! Fair enough?

Well, he didn’t die because I shot him with my camera… hahaha, ok bad joke.

Anyway, I’ve to get really close (like 2-3 cm) to him before I can get a sharp enough image … I was practically harassing him all the time … but funny, he seems to enjoy getting shot… His only retaliation is moving his feelers and moving that small step away. (I think me jumping because he moved was far more than his movement)

  1. My God, you must have the patience and dexterity of an angel to have taken this many pictures of a single grasshopper. Your photographic epic efforts are well rewarded with all the comments and views you received. The grasshopper unfortunately will not reap such good fortune as you unless you keep her or him as a pet… Congratulations on this picture shoot…

    • Lol, thanks for the compliment 🙂
And you’re one of them that rewarded me by visiting and commenting 🙂
I was just fooling around with my “new” lens …

      Ah… I won’t get to keep him as a pet …
      but I thank him …

    • I realised that is the best angle too but well, I’m kinda afraid to get close from that angle …
if he leaps I’m gonna throw my phone … haha

      • Not the green ones. I don’t like them. The ones whose colour closely matches those of US army uniform. Kind of. I used to play in with them when I was young and would feed them with a piece of grass. Their body length is longer than the one you took photo.
