Love ItLove It

I Guess I am Glad it Doesn't Really Matter

I guess my new life philosophy is simple. “It is what it is”.  I can change myself, my ideas, my dreams, my desires, and my behaviors.  In reality, those are mine to deal with. It would be thoughtful to see how they may have an impact on others and still, they are solely mine to make. My husband was reading and he said: “How are you going to choose who gets your 25 comments?”

“It’s not something I have ever thought about. I don’t count the comments I write. I usually comment if I have something nice or of value to say and move on.  I don’t like to see a post that no one comments on because I think that is sad for the spirit of the community, but that’s just me.

“What if I want to comment?”

“You can’t comment. You are not a member here. Most of the time if you want someone to know something I make sure they know it.”

“Why am I not a member?”

“Well,  you are very good at scrolling and reading. You get to do that all the time. You are not good at turning the computer on and off and typing. I think it would be safe to say you are our honorary reader.  You read and scroll on the smaller screen that has your name on it.”

“Your Grandsons want you to learn to fly that little ball they gave you. Maybe you could work on that.”
