I went out the front door and there was a cute little bag with a book in it. I love to read and was delighted,, until I read the card. It read, in all caps YOU REALLY NEED TO READ THIS BOOK–NOW!
I looked around to see if there were any clues as to who left the book and note. There was nothing. I had never heard of the author before and the title was not something I found very flattering in combination with the note. It just all hit me wrong. The author of the book is Hugh Prather.

Hmm…advertisement?
I’d read the book, a few pages and then maybe use it to balance my table… lol
just joking… pls, share with me what happened thx
I am kind of liking that idea! Can I borrow it?
Lol, it’s not copyrighted …
you can use it anyway you like :p
It reminds of a Disqus comment that rubbed some snowflakes the wrong way. And since they did not graduate from Kindergarten by refusing to tone down lies about me, I did my best late George Steinbrenner impression. “You’re fired.”
That’s one way to handle it.
Since some people do not know who I am and trying to lie about me is not good for them to try to take me down.
Is that a real story or did you make it up?
It is very real. I was offended and that was probably stupid.
I have no idea what book that was or why it might have been offensive. Did you actually read the book? Did you know that Prather died in his early 70’s — in a hot tub?
