Christmas is always full of nostalgia, going back to our childhood. If I remember back to my childhood, it always smelled of cakes, cookies, and of course good food on Christmas Eve. Mom took care of these delicacies, and I and my sister decorated the Christmas tree. After dinner, we went to a midnight Mass and then hung out with relatives for a little while, which we did not see often during the year. In the morning, however, a gift was waiting for us under the Christmas tree. This year, I was really surprised at the number of gifts (I had to be very diligent ?) because so many gifts had not been under the tree for a long time. I felt like a kid again. But I also realized that my relationship with my family and relatives is the way it should be in all families, respectful and kind.

We receive the visit of 3 magic Kings on January, 5. I prefer the gifts of these 3 kings, (Reyes Magos) than the gifts of Santa Claus
You have a few different tradition.
I had memories like yours as a child.
I saw 2 friends in the morning then drove to Te Kauwhata to see my sister, brother in law and brother.
I got some nice gifts and Denis my brother caught some fish and meat, he froze and took that home to the freezer for future meals
On the way to the flat another person told me that Santa did not give her a gift so I gave her a packet of fish my brother caught.
So I was Santa that day for her.
These are wonderful memories of our childhood.

when the twins were little they convinced my mother to give me a lump of coal for Christmas. No coal this year!
Oh, our children everything comes to mind. They have interesting ideas.
