Eight in the morning, metro full, bus stops full. There are hundreds of people inside the public transport but you can not hear the noise typical of these places. Do you know what is one of the big reasons why this happens? If you do this exercise the next morning you get into the subway quickly will notice.
90% of people enter with their heads down and the mobile phone in their hands, make the trip like that and leave the transport in the same way. We are all in the same place but, in fact, we all end up being in different places at the same time. We do not create links with each other but we are permanently connected to the various applications that we have downloaded on our mobile phone. Nowadays, we use this device to do just about everything, even grocery shopping, and most of us claim that we can not even live without it.
Aren’t we wasting a lot of our time looking at our mobile phones?
Any idea how much time is spent on your cell phone? Just go to the settings (if you have an iPhone), click where it says “battery” and click again where is an icon of a clock. There you will find the time you have spent on each application in the last 24 hours and you will also be able to see how much time has passed on the mobile phone.

I play games a lot… so yeah, I probably do spent too much time on it …

I spend a lot of time on the phone, because I use it for many things – to browse the internet, as a camera and so on.
I agree with the essence of this paper. I myself rarely use cell phones except to call, take pictures, and the rest only when I feel the need.
