I use to celebrate with family at home, but this year It will be different due To a relative health problem.

In the past, when my parents were alive, we used to go to Las Vegas or Reno for New Year’s Eve, which was fun at night because all the street was crowded and alive. It got messy fast, but there were maintenance crew cleaning the streets afterwards. it was like what you see on tv. everyone standing outside, waiting for the countdown, and then fireworks and confetti as well as many people wearing party hats, like a New Year’s Eve tiara and black tophat.
Sounds amazing indeed, so many precious memories! I hope you have a wonderful 2018!

I acknowledge the fact that we will be going into a new year but I cannot tolerate the fireworks. It flares up the PTSD.
