When there is a formal occasion to attend, the women usually go to the beauty parlor for a good makeup. But lucky are those who can call for a home service so the makeup procedure can be done in the comfort of the home. And even if there is a surcharge to the service, that would just be fine as long as the time of the makeup is followed.

As per the advice of the beautician, apply the makeup as later as possible. If the event is at 5 pm then have the makeup at least after 1 pm so there would be just 4 hours of gap and the makeup would remain good until after the event. Applying the makeup too early would just ruin it after sometime.
