Strongly associated with the Christmas season, holly is a beautiful bush. I have this one in my garden it is a medium-sized one.
Holly is characterized by its thorny leaves, red berries and, surprisingly its longevity can reach 300 years. I read that this plant is in danger due the tradition of cut it to decorate houses during Christmas. I just let it grow in my garden and let it make my world more beautiful.

I have many hollies around the house and they make nice evergreen hedges.
No Holly here but we do get artificial wreathes of Holly.
I decorate with fake Holly as holly doesn’t grow here. 🙂
