Hodgepodge if translated into Indonesian is “gado-gado” which in the form of food is a mixture of various boiled vegetables mixed with peanut chili sauce.

My grandfather used to use Hodgepodge all the time. Much like what Albert says above, as an odd or strange collection of things. No links, just things.
