My husband and I often watch very different shows. Our interests are not the same. However when either one of us finds something we find extremely interesting we join forces to watch.
I hadn’t heard of lamprey. According to the program we watched these have been around at least 360 million years and they have gone through very few changes. They have had little need to evolve or change. They look very similar to an eel. They are found in freshwater.
They are invasive and causing havoc in the Great Lakes. They are different kinds of lamprey. The one that is prevalent in Great Lakes is the one that sucks the blood of living fish.
