Halloween originated with the ancient Celtic ritual sacrifices, lived more than 2,000 years ago in what is now England, Ireland and Northern France. The Celts believed that the night of October 31 was the moment when the yin-yang boundary line was mixed, life and death were narrowly close. At that moment, demons from the underworld, the hells, will wander around the nooks and crannies of humans. Therefore, people had to light torches and wear masquerade costumes to ward off evil spirits.
