I had a hair cut last week, not because I didn’t want to keep my hair, but I wanted to donate it to the whom need a rig.
The program is organised by Lock of Hope association and the National Cancer Society of Malaysia. The hair will be made into a rig for those lose their hair during cancer treatment, especially after the chemotherapy.
Hope the rig owner will like my hair.

Did you donate your hair before or does your country has such hair donation society?

A very noble gesture. We have no such organization in our country.
I cut mine and wanted to donate it to Lock of Hope too. You reminded me as I still keep the hair with me. I hope it’s still usable. Did you send it by mail or bring it to the participating saloon personally?
I like the tree stump…. 😀
We do have hair donations here for people with cancer. It is a truly worthy cause
Yes, you are right, that’s great!
This is the first I heard Hair Donation ,
Really? Me too, only knew this few years back.
A small donation for a noble cause.
Agree, hope can help those with cancer.
I have done it twice before and now i have it cut and ready to give away they will collect mine on Wednesday this week.
Great to know that, I need to post it instead.
That is indeed a kind and generous thought.
Yes, in fact my daughter did once too.
That is wonderful that you donated your hair for those who need wigs,
yes, and the best thing is it doesn’t cost us any single cent.
I have a friend who donates her hair to that organization.
Glad to know that, sure she were happy to give away her long hair.
A very nice thing for you to do.
Thanks Carol, it’s a nice day after doing this. 😛
