Regardless of genetics, the yellow shade of the teeth can be related to several factors and everyday habits – which fortunately we can change.
Habits that make our teeth yellow:
– Drink coffee or tea regularly;
– Smoke;
– The weakening of tooth enamel, as a result of the aging process;
– Ingestion of a diet low in nutrients, rich in processed and acidic foods, including soft drinks, sweets and even certain fruits;
– Dry mouth, because the deficit of saliva gives less protection to the enamel;
– Breathing through the mouth and blocked nasal passages, which also decrease the amount of saliva produced by the glands;
– Taking antibiotics;
-Excessive fluoride intake, especially if this habit starts in childhood.

I drink tea and coffee but I have white teeth. I read once that you can have whiter teeth if you mix lemon with salt and you use it on your teeth
Very useful information!
Yes I knew this information.
thank you, I am glad you like it.
My problem with smoking
Smoking can really yellow our teeth.
I drink tea but it has not had any effect on my teeth. I do know the enamel gets worn out after a period of time.
I also drink a lot of tea and it doesn’t affect my teeth.
Good peace of information.
