This skywalk bridge was not there when we visited this wonder. Anyway I would not have ventured into walking on this glass bridge built at a height of 4000 feet. Looking down through the glass floor one can see right through something I would not dare to. Not for the weak of heart.
There is news that some young man jumped to his death from here and the bridge is now closed for tourists for the time being.
This video gives you a glimpse

Would you venture a walk on this skywalk?
-
Yes
-
No
-
The Grand canyon in USA?
Yes. Grand Canyon in USA (lol)
I would try it and see how I would feel about it. If the builders say it is safe and it will stay up, then why not?
It is not the question of feeling safe but some like me just do not like heights.
I would love to look down from the bridge. It would be amazing.
You are the lucky one that does not mind those vertigo generating views (lol)
It looks fantastic but I wouldn’t step on the glass or look down.
Looking down through that glass floor could be quite scary (lol)
Looks scary but I think I will try.
Yeah since it seems safe ……………
All the best in your safe walk
On the assumption that this has been thoroughly tested (!) – yes, I would have no qualms, as the view downwards must be incredible.
There are many like you for whom this is put up (lol)
You can count me out, I am also afraid of heights.
Bad enough just looking down from level zero which I have done and this bridge is built 4000 ft from the base.
I’ve only been there once and it was cloudy in the canyon, you couldn’t see anything.
We took a plane from Las Vegas a small one that was so wobbly that it did make me nervous. Many I saw were walking down to the base which I was not ready for.
The safety rails are not high enough. Anyone larking around, could accidentally get pushed over the rail.
In cruise ships, I have seen the same low rails. Drunken brawls often lead to someone going over, lost to the sea. A simple slip on a deck, and a topple, over a mid-waist level rail, will do it.
Those who create these contraptions should really know the dangers involved.
Yes, especially in regards to suicidal people too. The rails should be so high, they cannot even climb over them, or so narrow, they cannot slip through them.
Not worth it to take foolish risks. However I have been up in Auckland’s Sky tower and when I get the chance I will go again, there is a part you walk on and you can see all the way down.
It freaked me out.
Some people pay to get on cables from a great height on Auckland’s Sky tower and go down in overalls attached to ropes. I think they are mad…
I missed going up the tower as we had plans to visit some friends and so the group went without us.
Yes, I hope to go to the tower again and share the photos, but my husband Warwick won’t go there, so have to go when I can
You can count me out I am afraid of heights,
They have ruined the natural set up there by this monstrous creation.
I agree with you grace. I am first off deadly afraid of heights and I know I would not even be able to put one toe, let alone one foot on that skywalk. Of course the view must be magnificent but I would never be able to look down…. It is too bad about this young man jumping to his death….
The is one such in China which is even more horrifying if that is the right word (lol)
This guy committed suicide.
If it’s intended for viewing, I don’t think I would have the restraint to look around … it’s certainly built safely
You are lucky that you have no issues with heights.
Luckily I don’t have these, dear friend …. Are you afraid of heights?
I am mortified of heights and would never take chances
But you’re not afraid of flying … and I’m afraid of flying
Sadly a man recently jumped to his death from this skywalk.
I have given a link in the post on that man who committed suicide. What a place to go to!!!
