I had my first experience of hanging out with my nephew from the US who opened his Google Hangout connection and spoke with me. It was my birthday.
He needs it as he is working and often has to hold discussions with his counterparts all over the world. As for me I do not have a webcam and so he could not see me but I could see him. I have no intention of going for a webcam as I have no need for it.
It was a nice experience as his wife also spoke with me. I had not seen her for years whereas my nephew visits India now and then.
