This picture was taken during a trip to Kelantan, the state at the Northern of Peninsular Malaysia and neighboring Thailand, a big Buddha country.
This is one of the giant Buddha I have ever seen before this. Have you seen this before?

Thanks, there are many here especially in Thailand.
It seems to be huge. Unfortunately, here in Canada, we do not have Buddha statues except maybe small ones in the very few Buddhist temples that may exist here. I would like, one of these days, if ever I get over my fear of flying, visit Malaysia and Thailand and all other south east countries. The only thing that I would not enjoy is the heat and the humidity as I mush prefer snow and cold. After all, I am a Canadian.
Come here when it’s winter season as most of the European like to fly over for a hot sunny vacation. 😛
Wow what a beautiful Buddha statue. Never seen one this big.
