Friday in Black and White – The little girl in the dark

Hello friend! Friday is always about black and white photography. Today I have  an outdoor low key portrait.

Low-key photography refers to a photo style that uses predominantly dark tones. This photo style is usually used to create a mysterious atmosphere. This type of photography is generally done in studio but … I do not have one so I tried a portrait outside a studio. That’s what I got! Hope you like it!

Don’t forget to post your B&W photography!

    • I have no idea who she is! I took the picture during a concert. The little girl caught my attention because she was above all those present. Her father kept her on his shoulders!

  1. low key here refers to the intensity of the key light. but in graphic design, key is the jargon for black ink which would make this mean the opposite thing…

  2. Wow I would love to learn how to do this, I don’t think I have a setup for this at all. You are such a professional. WOW! This is a priceless photo my friend.
