Lately I’ve been practicing my skill in making low key photography. Low key photos are those in which dark tones dominate and appear very small bright areas. In my previous posts, The little girl in the dark, Low key portret, I’m worried I showed you some of my low key style portraits. I have to say you, that the low-key photography style works wonderfully for landscape or cityscape photography, too. For today’s challenge I have prepared a low key cityscape. It is The Great Royal Church, built between 1583 and 1585 by the prince Petru Cercel and is part of the Royal Court Assembly of Targoviste. Hope you like it!

That is a real beauty! I love that kind of image. I lean toward the “film noir” or the expressionistic. This is better – the range of tones is there and it is not high contrast. Anyway, it is just really beautiful. Happy solstice and have a great summer.
