Framed – Nature Tuesday

While I frame an artwork I go through many frames painstakingly before I decide on one that suits the work.  With nature you just have to point your lens and shoot. On my walk near the lake I found this tree that had hairy/spiny  fruits like  the rambutan. A little bit of research shows me that it could be Castanea pumila  or the dwarf horse chestnut trees.

The orange /russet colored spines  of the dwarf chestnuts catching the light through the clearing on one side and the wild caster bushes on the other side  framed the blue skies and the cloud so beautifully. I love taking these pictures to create a background for my inspiring quotes.

Nature always inspires me. I can never go out without my camera for the fear of missing out on  scenes like these. I hope you like it as much as I do.
